Burberry Prorsum Fall 2013 Collection

London Fashion Week would not be complete without the Burberry Prorsum collection. I love Burberry’s creative director, Christopher Bailey because he has the ability to bring so much life to this traditional British fashion label and offer a new twist on the classic trenchcoat. This season’s look was a beautiful mix of textures on the overcoats from wools and patent leather.  The collection looked very mod with bold colors of red, camel, black, and white. Bailey’s not afraid to get the label’s wild side on with animal prints in zebra and cheetah on dresses, accessories and shoes. It’s added another dimension to the clothes!

First model out at the shoe was one of the current faces of Burberry brand, and newly darkened Edie Campbell (who chopped her long hair off in the fall into a bob). Along with other Brits, Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn.  But I was especially happy to see top American model, Karlie Kloss walk in the show for the first time. I remember seeing past interviews of Karlie where she talked about having a dream to walk for the Burberry show and I am happy for her! You go Karlie!

Other featured looks included 1960s inspired sweaters and high-waisted skirts. A modern edge was seen with studded overcoats. Not to mention structured dresses with metal details. You can also count on Burberry to created accessories, bags, and shoes that everyone will want to wear.  Take a look at some of the best looks from the show.
