Proenza Schouler is one of my favorite New York design houses because each season Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough create fun and inventive patterns that give women an edge. It also helps when you have five former top models from the 1990s and early 2000s to help sell your clothes down the runway. Icy blondes Kirsty Hume and Georgina Grenville along with Canadian models Liisa Winkler and Heather Marks and my favorite and former Tom Ford muse, Liya Kebede set the mood. (Not to mention Georgina Grenville was one of Tom Ford’s muse for Gucci in the nineties and closed his Fall 2004 and final collection for the house).
This collection featured hues of black, red, brick, yellow, white, metallic. Neutrals with a twist!
Check out a few of my favorite looks.
Until next time…
