Michael Kors is one my favorite designers and each fashion week excites me to see what he has envisioned for the consumer to wear in the next season. There is classic American freshness with Kors and I love how he makes pieces that seen individually could easily help to upgrade your wardrobe or can wear completed looks on the runway for an overall wardrobe redo. He is also celebrates models of all shapes and sizes which is refreshing. He welcomes top models Karen Elson, Frankie Rayder and Karolina Kurkova who have come back to do shows after becoming mothers. (Not to mention Kurkova’s recent success on Oxygen’s The Face). He also welcomed back Cameron Russell and Hilary Rhoda who were well know during the Spring/Summer 2006 collections.
This collection can be tied together with the Michael Kors Brown leather belt that was virtually on every look on the runway. These are definitely the clothes you wanna wear on vacation or holiday. The floral print shown felt like it was a throw back his collection back for Spring/Summer 2006. His fabrics were gorgeous and showed everything from cotton to cashmere to fur. He is fearless and makes clothes to fit the needs of every person who wants to a part of the Michael Kors lifestyle.
Where would we be without Kors?
Until next time…
