Elie Saab is a Lebanese designer whose career started dressing the Middle East’s socialites from his Beirut studio who gained global fame after his dress was worn by Halle Berry during the 2002 Academy Awards when she won Best Actress for her role in “Monster’s Ball”. The dress was graphically one of the most stunning Oscars’ gowns I had ever seen.  The couture details in the sheer top with embroidery just covering what needed to be cover and flared out to a full burgundy skirt.  It was stunning and remains his most memorable gowns of his career.

Elie Saab’s Fall 2013 Couture collection was seemed to have royal theme with gowns in shades that matched the stones and gems you would find on a crown including rubies, emeralds, diamonds, sapphires, amethysts, opals, blue topaz, and black diamonds.  There is never an Elie Saab dress that I hate each piece in this collection is work of art and felt that rather than choosing a few of my favorite dresses that I would share the entire collection. It will groups of color of gowns.
